Approximately 6 months after the start of the civil works, PARCITANK commissioned the Farmitank system. These assembly works began in June 2022 with the civil works, which lasted approximately 5 weeks. The assembly of the tank structure began at the end of August and lasted for 4 weeks. The months of October and November were mainly devoted to the assembly of the cultivation levels and the installation of the different lighting, climate and irrigation equipment. During the months of December and January, the irrigation and planting rooms were assembled and equipped, and the electrical and hydraulic installation was carried out and. Finally, in February, the commissioning and start-up of the system were carried out. This commissioning marks the end of a project milestone and the start of cultivation trials.
