On 17 June 2022 excavation and earth moving works began at the Florette facilities located in the city of Milagro, where the Farmitank with 24 layers of crop will be installed to demonstrate the socioeconomical and environmental benefits of the Farmitank solution through different crop varieties trials.
After the approval of the construction permits by the city hall of Milagro last March 2022, these civil works are the first step for the installation of the prototype. Next, the construction of the foundation of the tank will be carried out and, as a last step to complete this phase, the concrete screeds will be made in the areas adjacent to the tank. Once these works are completed, the civil works will be considered finished and the assembly of the tank structure will begin, which is estimated to begin at the end of July 2022.
