On November 15th Hassen Merdassi, representing the LIFE FARMITANK project, presented the vertical farming technology developed in the project, as well as their benefits, the cultivation results and the production costs obtained during the first 8 months of cultivation trials.
25 people attended this event held in the NH Hotel Cartagena (Murcia), all of them belonging to the AGRIAL group (France). AGRIAL is a French agricultural and agri-food cooperative group. With 12,000 affiliated farmers and nearly 21,200 employees, this group is currently among the leaders of agricultural cooperative groups in France.
With this type of events, it is intended to disseminate the benefits of this technology applied to other countries or regions with the final goal of replicate this technology.
